Ian Middleton
Founder and Managing Director
Ian Middleton personifies everything needed to move from a career in the public sector to success in the small business world. Having started his working life in local government Ian has now been successfully involved in a large number of business start-ups and has run businesses from 1 to 2000 employees.
Ian says; I have learnt the hard way and have the bruises to prove it, now my measure of success is how much I can help others to change their career and build a highly successful business. Please don’t do it the hard way, talk to someone who has the experience and be successful from the very start.
Nichola McKay
Nichola McKay set up her own People Development business in 2008. Building on over 20 years experience as a manager and development professional in the public sector, she now has a thriving business working with both public and private sector clients. She has a MSc in People & Organisational Development, is an ILM qualified Executive Coach and Mentor and a member of the CIPD.
Nichola has a wide range of experience of working with managers and business owners, building their knowledge and confidence, helping them to recognise their skills and giving them the support they need to realise their ambitions.
Nichola says: I was fortunate to receive a lot of sound advice when I first set up my company 3 years ago, just as the recession started to bite! It has been a challenging experience but I have got the results I was looking for and enjoyed the independence and sense of achievement over past three years. My philosophy on running your own business is very simple – if you want success then you will achieve it and if you believe in yourself and what you deliver then others will believe in you!
Jan Gill
Jan Gill has set up and successfully managed her own businesses. She has also obtained considerable experience in all aspects of business management by working in a variety of senior positions in small, medium and large organisations. Jan has her MBA and is an associate member of the CIPD. She has worked with a number of franchisees over a period of time, which has given her the ability to develop excellent relationships based on high levels of credibility, trust and delivery.
Jan says; I have learnt so much over the years about setting up and running businesses, I want to use that experience to help others achieve their dreams. As one client recently said, ‘the difference between Jan and most others is she genuinely cares about my business’ which is why I want to work with her.
